Asus ZenFone 5Z new OTA update aims to make the camera even better

The Asus ZenFone 5Z is the new coolest toy in town that wants to take flagship killer battle to another level. It is meant to compete with the OnePlus 6, no doubt about that. And compete, it does. Our colleague at Mr. Phone reviewed the device and he has lots of words of praise for it. In fact, he believed the OnePlus 6 has the edge with the slightest of margins. Some of that edge might very well be cut off today as Asus has issued an update that aims to improve the camera experience on the phone.

The update adds a number of cool features and fine tunes some existing ones as well as irons outs some bugs that have been on the software. As per the changelog that we will list at the end of the article, ZenFone 5Z users will now enjoy RAW file support, Panorama feature, and a switch for EIS. Filters will now be updated in real time. These are new features not found on earlier versions of the ZenFone 5Z software.
