Nowadays, online streaming is in trend whenever we feel like watching a video or listening to songs we simply go on YouTube free of cost. But now the streaming website is rolling out a subscription-based music streaming for its users.

YouTube is consulting with the biggies of the music industry like Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Merlin. YouTube is popular for the different genres of music present on the website, it has a reach of 1 billion users every month. In the year 2014, the website introduced YouTube Music Key which allowed the subscribers to listen to music completely ad-free.

They are again trying to put a step forward in order to gain money out of users who love watching and listening to songs. Other paid music streaming apps like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal earn much more than what YouTube had expected from its paid version. October 2017 Microsoft has shut down its music service (Groove) and collaborated with Spotify. Google Play Music also failed to make an impression on the music world, it coincided with Spotify and Apple Music which has more than 30 million subscribers.

This paid version could either be a huge turning point in course of the website or it could even go down the drain. Share with us your views on this in the comment section below.
