Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 launched in China; specifications, pricing, and more

Alongside the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi has also launched its first laptop which is the Redmibook 14. Unlike Xiaomi’s Mi Notebooks, the Redmibook lineup is expected to be available globally. For now, the company has only launched the 14-inch model, with more offerings to come later on. Well then, let’s see what the Xiaomi Redmibook 14 is all about.

Xiaomi Redmibook 14 specifications

The Xiaomi Redmibook 14 comes with a 14-inch IPS LCD display featuring a Full HD panel. It comes with an option of choosing either the Intel Core i5 or the Intel Core i7 processors. As for RAM, you get a single stick of 8GB DDR4 RAM. In terms of storage, you can choose between 256GB or 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. You also get Nvidia’s MX250 graphics under the hood.

The laptop features a full-size island-style backlit keyboard, similar to Apple laptops. As for the weight, the RedmiBook 14 will weigh around 1.5kgs, making it quite portable. The RedmiBook 14 comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port an HDMI port on the left side. Over to the right side, you get a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The laptop comes with DTS surround sound as well. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home as well as Microsoft Office.

Xiaomi Redmibook 14 price

Redmi has kept the prices of the laptop quite competitive. The laptop will be available in three SKUs, with pretty good prices all around. The RedmiBook 14 starts at RMB 3999 (~Rs. 40,300)for the i5/256GB variant and RMB 4299 (~Rs. 43,300) for the i5/512GB variant. Finally, the i7/512GB top end variant is priced at RMB 4999 (~Rs. 50,300).
