Xiaomi has been on a roll with plenty of smartphones being announced recently. The company just launched the Redmi Note 7 and the Note 7 Pro in the country. And well, it is already gearing up for the launch of the Redmi Go in India. Now, while those are the company’s India plans, that’s not all. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 7 in China, after months of teasing. Well, let’s see what the Redmi 7 is all about.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 specifications

The Redmi 7 comes with a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9, There’s also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the device. Under the hood, you’ll find the Snapdragon 632 SoC alongside 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM options. As for storage, you get 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage variants. Ther’s also a physical fingerprint scanner on the back for biometric authentication.

The Redmi 7 comes with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. Keeping the lights on is a 3,900mAh battery. As for camera optics, there is a dual 12MP+2MP setup on the back. Up front, you get an 8MP shooter for selfies. 

Xiaomi Redmi 7 price and availability

The Redmi 7 comes in three colours: Blue, Red, and Black. The device is priced at 699 yuan (~Rs 7,150), 799 yuan (~Rs 8,170), and 999 yuan (~Rs 10,215), for the 2+16GB, 3+32GB, and 4+64GB variants respectively. The device will go on sale in China, starting March 26th, 2019. As of now, there is no word on the Indian launch of the device. But stay tuned to Mr. Phone for all the buzz in the smartphone world.
