Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 3i with AMOLED display and 20-days battery life launched in India

Xiaomi has launched its new smart wearable in India Today. The electronics manufacturer has now introduced a downgraded version of its Mi Band 4. Essentially, the new Mi Smart Band 3i is the Mi Band 4 minus heart rate sensor. The Mi Band 3i is priced at Rs 1,299 in India. Let’s talk about the wearable specifications and features below in detail. 

Mi Smart Band 3i – Specs & Features

Sporting an AMOLED 0.78-inch touch panel, the new Mi Band 3i comes with a 5ATM level, which is the waterproof rating. It has a display of 128 x 80-pixel resolution. The display colour is monochrome white and it claims to offer brightness levels up to 300 nits. The strap material is TPU, and the body material is polycarbonate and is hardened with UV and anti-fingerprint coating.

Currently, it is made available in Black colour only. It will be supporting Android and iOS devices, running versions 4.4 and 9.0, respectively. Speaking about the sensors, it packs a 3-axis accelerometer. Unfortunately, it’s missing on the heart rate sensor, probably which is why the lower price point. 

Coming to its features, it touts more than 30 features available on this tiny smart band. Including the likes of unlocking the phone, phone locator, sleep monitoring, call display/rejection, viewing messages, idle alert, app notifications, and real-time activity tracker to name few. 

With the Mi Fit App, you can be on top of the stats taken by the Mi Band. The app allows you to set goals, track daily activity, sleep habits, and weekly progress. All can be done on the Mi Fit app, which is said to be available on both platforms, Android and iOS. 

Speaking of battery life, it claims 20-days battery life. Xiaomi teases, Charge it and Forget it. This fitness tracker is said to last almost three weeks on a single charge, which is an incredible duration.
