Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition

Xiaomi has introduced Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition in India. The smartphone maker in the country has forayed into the laptops business early June, this year. The Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition adds to its current notebooks portfolio, which includes Mi NoteBook 14 and Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. The new notebook, however, can be considered as an entry model in the lot as it costs Rs 34,999. For this introductory price, the notebook is available for sale on Amazon, Mi.com and also Mi Home.

Amidst the pandemic, e-learning appears to be the new standard, particularly for students and professionals. Xiaomi might have thought that and came up with this new e-learning edition notebook at a much lower price when compared to the notebooks launched not long ago.

Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition — Specifications

The latest notebook from Xiaomi comprises a 14-inches Full-HD anti-glare display. It is a standard 16:9 display with 81.2% screen-to-body-ratio. A 720p HD webcam is placed right on top of the display. The display is enclosed in an all-metallic body, on the whole, it weighs 1.5kg, according to Xiaomi. The metal chassis on the notebook additionally comes with anodised sandblasted coating.

Under the hood, Intel’s Core 10th-Gen i3 processor powers the Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition. This 2.1GHz dual-core processor supports clock speeds of 4.1GHz. For graphics, the notebook ships with Intel UHD Graphics. 

The storage option on the latest notebook comprises 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD. The built-in keyboard here on the new laptop is a scissor-switch keyboard coupled with a multi-touch trackpad as well. For audio, the notebook comes with stereo speakers paired with DTS audio processing.

On the I/O front, the Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition features two USB Type-A 3.1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition — Battery

The latest edition comes with a 46Wh battery underneath. The Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition is bundled with a 65W charger as well. The notebook claims to have a 10-hour battery backup on a single charge. Lastly, the Mi NoteBook 14 e-Learning Edition laptop ships with Windows 10 Home edition pre-installed.
