The Mi Max 3 that recently launched in China last month is finally going to arrive in India. A new tweet that from Xiaomi’s official Twitter handle just revealed this to us yet it is still early to be asking for specific dates. The launch could come by the end of this month itself as Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 series earlier this month in the country.
Mi Max 3: Bigger and Better!
In China, the third generation of the Max series was made official in July. It comes with an absolutely massive 6.9-inches of display making it the Godzilla of big screen smartphones. Heck, we can’t even call it a phablet anymore. It probably makes the launch of the Mi Pad 4 pointless as the Max 3 already has all the screen real estate any tablet user will ever need. That said, it’s not that big of a jump considering the Max 2 was already 6.4-inches in size. The other upgrade in the Mi Max 3 is the battery that’s 5,500mAh with fast charge capability.

In all other respects, you should consider the Mi Max 3 as a Redmi Note 5 Pro because it has the same vital components. It’s the same processor – the Snapdragon 636, the same camera setup and also the same software. However, we could see it packing MIUI 10 in India.
The Mi Max 3 starts at $250 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. That could mean a price tag of around Rs 16,999 in India. The higher-end 6GB + 128GB could cost even more around the region of Rs 20,000. Stay tuned as we will update you when the actual launch date is announced.
