Xiaomi Mi Box 4K streaming player launched in India at Rs 3,499

Xiaomi has launched its all-new flagship smartphone in India today, the Mi 10. Alongside, this phone, it has also announced a streaming player box dubbed as Mi Box 4K. Priced at Rs 3,499 it will be available in India from starting May 11 on Mi.com and offline stores as well. It is the first of its kind product from Xiaomi in India. Already available in some select markets, this Smart Box will turn your TV into a Smart TV. How? We tell you all about it below. 

What Is Xiaomi’s Mi Box 4K? 

It is a streaming player, video on demand box powered by an Android TV operating system. Equipped with a ton of features to make your standard TV into an Android-powered smart TV. That is what the brand has teased on its social channels. “” Imagine turning your TV into a Smart TV”. Now would you imagine that with Mi Box S? Let’s talk about its features.

Other than giving you a ton of apps to enjoy hours of video content it has a Built-in chrome cast, which makes it easier to stream content from your mobile. Suppose you want to showcase the photos/videos from your phone to Big screen. This technology will allow you to do that. 

Powered by apps like Netflix, YouTube, and more this smart Box will change the way you see your TV. It offers more than 5000 plus apps and games including Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, and more. 

Talking about the technical specifications, it will be powered by a Quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. Offering a range of features like easy to connect Wi-Fi, HDMI, and shared connections. You will see a range of audio certifications like Dolby Audio, and DTS for a premium sound quality experience. It as HDR10 support as well. 

The Google Assistant support means you can do a voice search and command Mi Box S to initiate a range of functions. Access a range of content on your existing TV. It offers up the support of up to 4K HDR resolution.
