Last year, the Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone had started receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update but unfortunately, it had to be pulled back. The update was stopped due to certain unspecified bugs. Well, the users will be happy to know that the company has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update again.
The build number for the update is OPR1.170623.026.8.1.10 it has brought in a lot of unique features. Along with the features, the update has also brought in the Android security patch for January. It also includes specific bug fixes which include DND volume problem, phone freeze, wrong rapid charging message, Bluetooth battery drainage, and unresponsive Google Dialler app. The update is 1222MB is size.
There are a few users who had already downloaded the previous update before it was pulled back. They have now received the update of 89MB. The users of the Xiaomi Mi A1 who installed the update earlier had multiple problems and they reported about the bugs in their device.
This update has been rolled out by Xiaomi (over the air) so it might take some time to reach the devices. It also includes new features for the fingerprint sensor.
