Vivo Y19 - Feature Image

Vivo is all set to introduce the successor to the Y17. The Chinese smartphone maker is believed to be working on Y19 and could very well discontinue its predecessor, Y17. This is exclusive information coming from 91Mobiles. Below let’s talk about the expected specifications and pricing of Vivo Y19.

Vivo Y19 – Specifications

The Vivo Y19 is appeared to be a rebranded version of the U3, which was launched in China. While the China model was announced with Snapdragon 675 chipset, the Indian variant is believed to come with MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. The phone will feature a waterdrop notch if you take a look at the Vivo U3.

The upcoming Vivo mid-ranger is all set to pack a 6.53-inch full-HD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Octa-core processor could be mated with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It could be running on the Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.

Speaking of the camera department, expect a triple rear camera setup. Where the configuration might look like this; 16MP + 8MP + 2MP. Here the 16MP lens will be primary and 8MP lens will be the wide-angle lens, while the 2MP lens is a depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP lens with an f/2.0 aperture size for selfies and video calling.

Fuelling the device is a 5000mAh capacity battery, unfortunately, there’s no mention of the fast charging technology. The Y17 comes with an 18W fast charging, this could be the same for the Y19 as well.

Vivo Y19 – Price & Availability

Talking about the pricing of its predecessor, the Y17 was launched at Rs 14,000, while the Y19 price in India could be higher, close to Rs 20,000. As far as the availability is concerned, there’s no date and expected time of launch. Stay tuned in for the same.
