Vivo X30 and X30 Pro with Exynos 980 SoC launched in China

Vivo has released its much-awaited upgrade to the X series. The new Vivo X30 and X30 Pro come with Samsung’s Exynos 980 processor. This SoC was launched by Samsung earlier in September this year. It is the South Korean manufacturer’s first 5G-integrated mobile processor. Let’s talk about the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro specifications in brief below.

Vivo X30 and X30 Pro – Features and Specifications

Sporting a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. It will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 980 processor with an integrated 5G modem. It will be offered by an 8GB of RAM and will come with two different storage variants. The storage options are 128GB and 256GB models. These handsets will be running on FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. 

Talking about the camera department, it comes with the triple rear camera setup, where the primary lens is of 64MP resolution having f/1.8 aperture. The secondary lens will be an 8MP wide-angle lens and the third lens is of 32MP portrait sensor. The above setup is on the X30, whereas the X30 Pro comes with quadruple rear cameras. 

The X30 Pro comes with four cameras set up, where three lenses are similar as seen on the X30. The additional sensor includes a 13MP periscope lens with an f/3.0 aperture with 5X optical zoom. It has a focal length of 135 mm. On the front, they both offer a 32MP resolution lens with f/2.45 aperture.

The battery capacity on both is the same at 4350mAh with 33W flash charge technology for super-fast charging speeds. The connectivity features include 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. These models weigh at 196.5 grams and have a thickness of 8.80 mm.   

Vivo X30 and X30 Pro – Pricing & Availability 

The Vivo X30 model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs 33,500 approximately (3298 Yuan). Whereas if you want 256GB storage, it will cost you Rs 36,500 approximately (3598 Yuan). Coming to the X30 Pro pricing, it will cost you Rs 40,500 approximately (3998 Yuan) to buy 8GB + 128GB model. If you want 256GB storage on X30 Pro, it will cost you Rs 43,500 approximately (4298 Yuan). 

The pre-order for both the phones are live, but they will be going on sale on December 24th (Vivo X30 Pro) and December 28th (Vivo X30).
