Vivo S7e 5G with Dimensity 720 SoC and 64MP triple rear cameras launched in China

Vivo has launched the Vivo S7e 5G smartphone in the Chinese market. The new 5G device adds to the current Vivo 5G phones’ portfolio. Measuring 7.73mm in body thickness, it claims to be one of the lightest smartphones that Vivo has ever made. The official pricing of the device is not out yet. The other highlights of the Vivo S7e 5G include new paint job design alongside bigger camera sensors and more.

Vivo S7e 5G – Design 

The interesting part of the Vivo S7e 5G smartphone appears to be the design. With the traditional dewdrop display on the front, it is enclosed in a paint job multi-layered finishing on the rear. There are several colour options to go through, which is quite familiar when it comes to Vivo phones, in general.

The Vivo S7e 5G comes with a 6.44-inches AMOLED Full-HD display. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and attains a 90.1% screen-to-body-ratio. Further, the display is HDR 10 supported, and it also features an in-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Underneath the display, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. The 64-bit octa-core 7nm processor from the chipset maker brings in the dual-mode 5G capabilities to the Vivo S7e smartphone. In terms of storage, the Vivo S7e 5G features a single storage option, i.e. 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Vivo S7e 5G – Cameras

There are triple rear cameras on the back, with a 64MP sensor acting as the primary one. The primary camera comes with an aperture of f/1.89. An 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera follows it, and a 2MP camera acts as a depth sensor. However, on the front, the dewdrop notch features a 32MP selfie camera. For video recording, the device supports shooting up to 4K resolution. And, there EIS for anti-shaking and stabilisation during recording. Both the front and rear cameras support portrait mode shooting. Besides, the selfie camera has a super night scene selfie camera as well.

Vivo S7e 5G – Battery

A decent 4100mAh battery capacity powers the device. It supports 33W Superflash charge from Vivo through USB Type-C. Out-of-the-box, the phone ships with FunTouchOS 10.5, which is Android 10-based. Lastly, the connectivity options include 5G, Dual VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi. The phone also equips a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.

Vivo S7e 5G – Availability and Pricing

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo S7e 5G will be on sale in the company’s domestic market. It comes in three colour variants that include —  Black Mirror, Silver Moon, and Magic sand star sea. The pricing will be out on November 11 in the Chinese market as part of their holiday season.
