Two new promotional posters concerning the upcoming Nokia X have made their to Bloggerverse today. While there is very little we don’t know about the handset, the poster tips us some nuggets of info on availability. The poster reveals that the first notch-sporting handset from Nokia will be exclusive to e-commerce Suning.
We’re also treated to a set of images of the Nokia X but considering we’ve already seen the phone in the flesh, these aren’t anything new.
The second teaser is from Nokia itself. This apparently confirms the launch date and venue of the Nokia X. It will get a curtain-raiser on May 16 at an event in Sanlitun, Beijing at 2 PM. Furthermore, the Nokia X would be optimized for gaming, which is hinted at by the parachute supply packages. These can be seen in games like PUBG and Fortnite which are currently trending mobile games on Android and iOS. From the poster, it seems that the handset will be on sale on May 20.
Current information suggests the Nokia X will be available in a MediaTek version and a Snapdragon version. The Helio P60/Snapdragon 636 chipsets will occupy the driving seat in the chassis. Moreover, the Snapdragon is believed to get 6GB of RAM while the MediaTek variant gets 4GB of RAM. The 5.8-inch display is obviously 19:9 considering the visible notch. The MediaTek variant could be priced around 1,599 Yuan while the Qualcomm variant would be around 1799 Yuan.
