TRN audio ventures into India with four Hi-Fi wired IEMs starting at Rs 1,490

TRN audio products are now announced in the Indian market. TRN is an international audio brand, which is now forayed into India and will be available through The Audio Store. The audio firm is bringing in four Hi-Fi wired IEMs (In-ear-monitors). These IEMs include TRN VX, TRN V90s, TRN V90 and TRN ST1, which feature up to seven high-performance drivers, according to TRN.

TRN audio — TRN VX (Seven Driver (1DD+6BA))

The TRN VX is a wired IEM, which also includes mic. It comprises 6 BA (balanced armature) along with one dual-magnet dynamic (DD) hybrid driver setup. It further comprises a 10mm dual neodymium magnet dynamic driver setup that promises to deliver tactile and texture bass. The aforementioned hybrid setup further claims to produce elegant and natural sound with a treble. On the design front, the TRN VX features lightweight ear hooks that are said to be ergonomically built to fit any ear size.

In terms of technical specs, the TRN VX comprise 22Ω impedance, 107dB/mW sensitivity and frequency range of 7-40000Hz. It further comes with a 3.5mm audio jack alongside a 1.2m cable. The TRN VX retails at Rs 6,490.

TRN audio — TRN V90 (Five Driver (1DD+4BA))

The TRN V90 is said to be the flagship IEM from the company that features four balanced armature and one dual magnet dynamic driver setup. It also features 10mm DA, which claims to offer a new level of listening experience. The V90 comprises a large diamond-graphite diaphragm that promises low distortion and more details without cutting other sound signature.

The design aesthetic on the TRN V90 includes a metal housing, which is said to be made using a special process that involves 21 types of diamond router bits coupled with craftsmen to make the build tough and lightweight simultaneously. There are air vents on the housing, which claims to regulate airflow and pressure.

The other specifications comprise — 22Ω impedance, 110dB/mW sensitivity, 7-40000Hz frequency range, and there’s a 3.5mm stereo jack with a detachable 1.2m cable. The TRN V90 retails at Rs 4,490.

TRN audio — TRN V90s (Six Driver (1DD+5BA))

The V90s, on the other hand, comes with dual magnet high flux dynamic driver that brings lower impedance, higher sensitivity that promises faster transient response and impactful bass. The TRN V90s utilise 3 x 50060 BA and 2 x 30019 BA drivers for delivering airy highs, rich mid-tones, and crisp vocals, the company suggests. Further, the V90s utilizes 5-axis CNC machining instead of a die-casting process that claims to offer a better fit, feel and finish.

The IEM further uses a 4-core high purity 6N OCC detachable copper cable that promises to allow sound more freely. The technical specifications include 22Ω Impedance, 108dB/mW sensitivity, frequency ranging from 20-40000Hz. And, there’s a 3.5mm headset jack with a detachable 1.2m cable. The TRN V90s costs Rs 5,990

TRN audio — TRN ST1 (dual-driver (1BA+1DD)

On the TRN ST1, there’s a 10mm DD coupled with 30095 BA drivers setup. This promises to improve high-frequency extension and clarity with the richness of instruments and natural details.

The ST1 uses PVD protective film coating, and it comes with a satin finish featuring a pearly white shine. The other specifications comprise 22Ω Impedance, 108dB/mW sensitivity, frequency ranging from 1-40000Hz. Further, it has a 3.5mm headset jack with a detachable 1.2m cable. The TRN ST1 retails at Rs 1,490.
