Tecno Camon - Feature Image

Tecno is all set to bring in two new smartphones on February 20. The smartphone maker, which is popular in the sub Rs 10,000 price category is getting ready for its second launch of 2020. The brand has shared a media invite with us stating the launch date and a hint to what could be possibly offered on these two new phones.

Tecno Camon Smartphones – What to expect?

The handset maker has been lately keeping its focus in the sub-Rs 10K price category. As we have seen with the range of the Tecno Spark series, the brand went all in. There’s something to be seen similar to its all-new Camon smartphones. Unfortunately, at this stage, we don’t know much about the technical specifications of these phones. The only information that we know so far is regarding the camera department.

A Tecno smartphone with a 48MP AI Quad camera setup will be the first for the brand. And that is what is expected in one of the upcoming Tecno smartphones. The brand is teasing segment-first camera features, as it teases pricing to be under Rs 15,000. There is a particular tease from the brand regarding night photography. Which is why we expect it to offer low-light photography.

Using the hashtag #NewYouWithCamon, the company teases that, “Night is Not Dark”. According to the information shared by the brand, both the handsets will focus on night photography. But it’s unclear at this stage if both will offer 48MP sensors or not. Further, Tecno shares that its new phones will be equipped with DSP technology under the Ultra Night Mode.

This seems exciting for people who are loyal to Tecno consumers. As far as the brand’s presence is concerned, they are believed to be favorites in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the nation. Tune into our social handles and YouTube for more information on the day of the launch, February 20.
