Sony is amongst those OEMs that refreshes its smartphone portfolio quite speedily. Speaking of which, the Xperia XZ3 has just popped up on a Japanese blog. This comes after the spec sheet of the Xperia XZ2 successor was leaked a while back. We have a set of images that aren’t quite ideal to look at but will have to do for a first leak.
First live look at Sony Xperia XZ3’s design
Looking at the images, it is clear Sony will probably carry forward the Xperia XZ2 design in the Xperia XZ3. That’s easily visible from the dual camera, fingerprint placement which is exactly what we saw on the Xperia XZ2. Flipping it to the front, it is likely an 18:9 aspect ratio display here. It isn’t a surprise that Sony is sticking to its slightly changed design on the XZ3.
It is one of the most stubborn OEMs when it comes to the physical build of a handset. Also, do note that even the specifications of the Xperia XZ3 won’t differ much from the XZ2. That is clear from the leaked schematics below.
The front is dominated by an IPS LCD display which is 5.7-inch in size and has a Full HD+ resolution. There’s a possibility of it being packed with a Snapdragon 845 chip supported by 6GB of RAM. If leaks would have it, we should see a 64GB and 128GB variant with support for microSDs.

We do have details about the photographing hardware as well. The rear dual setup we saw would feature a 19MP (f/1.8) primary and a 12MP (f/1.6) monochrome one. The selfie shooter is tipped to be 13MP. Expect a 3,240mAh battery and connectivity options completely similar to the XZ2.
