Update: Sony is not going ahead with the moniker XA anymore. The renders that we are talking about below are of the XA3 and XA3 Plus. According to Ishan Agarwal, the Japanese maker will change the naming to Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. Looks like Sony might be on to something this year.
Sony is probably getting ready to showcase its next smartphone line-up at MWC 2019. While we knew about the alleged Xperia XA3 and XZ4, it is the first time that the XA3 Plus leak has popped up online. Interestingly, a full set fo renders along with the specifications has been leaked. Sony Xperia XA3 Plus specs
Compared side-by-side to the XA3, the XA3 Plus looks visually similar to its smaller sibling. The XA3 is believed to pack a 5.9-inch display, whereas the XA3 Plus may pack a 6.5-inch display. Interestingly, the display on this Sony Xperia phones sets apart from the current trend in the industry of notch and punch-hole display designs.
This 21:9 aspect ratio display promises CinemaWide viewing, which could be first in the industry. Sony does need to set its handsets apart from the trend in order to capture the audience with a wow. From the looks at the XA3 and XA3 Plus, the devices look promising. The bottom chin looks quite thin. Unfortunately, there is not much clear information available regarding the specifications of the device.
But it is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, and pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Reportedly, the back panel would be a plastic material. The fingerprint sensor is believed to be placed on the right edge between volume and power key. The bottom edge will house speaker grill and the USB Type-C port. Talking about the camera department, it will house a dual rear camera setup with dual LED flash support.
