All the Samsung loyal fans in India, rejoice! Your wish is going to be fulfilled on November 20 as Samsung is all set to launch its much-hyped Galaxy A9 (2018), the famed quad rear camera-enabled smartphone in the country. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer won’t be sitting idle in India in the last months of this year.

Touted as the world’s first rear quad camera phone, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is making its way into India after a month of its international release in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to Gadgets360, the company has started to send press invites that reads “4X Fun” in bold, which was the same public invite for its international launch. Nothing creative there!

Talking about the specs sheet of the new Samsung phone, we know all about it. It will come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. Under the hood will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

The quadruple camera configuration includes a 24MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FOV and f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.0 aperture. That’s quite a camera set up in a vertical manner.

In terms of the connectivity, it will pack a Bluetooth 5.0 support, NFC, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band support), USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. As far as the biometric security is concerned, it will have both, fingerprint sensor and a face unlock feature.

As for the pricing, the handset might be offered at a price of around Rs 35,000. It will make it seat with the likes of OnePlus 6T, Asus Zenfone 5Z, and LG G7+ ThinQ, which are the flagship performance phones.
