Samsung Level U2 are the new wireless headphones launched in the country. These come as successors to the Level U stereo wireless headphones launched back in 2015. As we can see it’s a long-overdue upgrade that also claims to come with the latest advancements, and best in class audio. For those unaware, Level U series from Samsung usually offers neckband style wireless headsets and the latest Level U2 is no exception. They also come with an updated neckband that holds the earphones when not in use.

The latest neckband style headphones from Samsung appears to be a significant upgrade when it comes to design. The company claims that these headphones are built with an ergonomic design including ergonomic ear tips as well. The ear tips promise to be easy on your ears with a snug fit. And, alongside a neckband resting around your neck. These headphones are meant to be designed for an outdoor run — thanks to the included IPX2 rating (for water and dust resistance). Or, can be used for calls/conference calls, especially in the current work from home scenarios since Samsung claims they offer a crystal clear call quality.

The Samsung Level U2 weigh around 41.5g and comes with hybrid canal earphones. They feature 12mm speaker units and include two microphones as well. The Level U2 headphones utilize Bluetooth 5.0 and come alongside support for SBC, AAC, and scalable codec. Scalable codec is an inhouse developed technology, which tends to analyse surrounding wireless devices to transmit optimal sound for seamless playback, the company claims.

Samsung doesn’t specify the precise battery capacity on the Level U2 headphones. But, it does suggest they provide 500 hours of standby time, coupled with 18 hours of music playback and also 13 hours of talk time, all this included in a single charge, sounds rational. Meanwhile, it charges through a USB Type-C port hosted in the neckband itself.
