Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+ might be revealed at MWC 2018

Galaxy S8

The Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, and the Galaxy S7 mobile phones by Samsung had been unveiled at the Mobile World Congress. The Galaxy S8, however, was launched in March 2017 through the company’s own launch event due to the certain issues with the Note 7. Thus we estimate that the S9 and S9+ will be launched at the MWC 2018 which is to be held on February 26.

Reports suggest that the tech giant will launch an event for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ one day prior to the Mobile World Congres 2018. That means the S9 and S9+ unpacking will be held on February 25.

The S9 flagship is expected to come with a similar design as that of the S8. But the company will surely not hand over a similar looking and functioning mobile to its users. The S9 will have improved specs and special features which will distinguish it from the S8. The S9 is speculated to have an infinity display and a fingerprint scanner below the camera. The camera is expected to have dual camera settings with optical image stabilizers, which are powerful enough to click perfect images even with shaky hands.

There were some rumours that Samsung will disclose the Galaxy S9 at a consumer electronics show which is to be held in January. But later the South Korean company cleared the air by saying that is not going to happen.

Though everything is mere speculation, we are sure the S9 and S9+ will be outstanding smartphones by the Korean company.
