Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is a highly rumoured device that has been in the news for a long time now. Be it for its alleged renders, specs leak, and even for its recent user manual leak, which makes it the most anticipated device that is rumoured to launch sometime soon, likely next month. This latest report comes from tipster Jon Prosser’s FrontPageTech blog. It suggests that we can expect the Galaxy S21 FE launch into the markets, happening on October 29th, while its pre-orders should start a week prior.
According to the blog post, the news comes from the sources familiar with the matter, who suggest the launch date is scheduled for October 29th. It further clarifies the launch here is referred to as a specific market launch and not an actual launch event. That means users expected to pre-order on October 20th can get their handsets by October 29th, again in selected markets. The report, however, doesn’t specify what those select markets can be, which also includes India.
That said, the report further informs the colour options of the Galaxy S21 FE, which we are expected to see after the launch: the device is said to be launching in Graphite, White, Olive Green, and Lavender. Besides, the device is also reported to come in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE — User manual leak
A recent report from Sammobile has further stated that they’ve obtained the user manual of the Galaxy S21 FE, which has suggested that the device is ditching the microSD option. Users are left to choose between the options provided in the selected markets. At the same time, the obtained manual doesn’t confirm any specs; it still implies what to expect. That includes an IP68 rating, comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for authentication, and a higher refresh rate screen.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE – Expected Design
As for the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE design, it fairly resembles the Galaxy S21 flagship series, but it is evident that it surely does not come with an all-metal or all-glass design. Still, it might opt for a plastic build, like the predecessor. The alleged renders and the image from the user manual indicate a triple rear camera setup. The other confirmed features include Dolby Atmos support, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and Wireless Dex.
The report’s other expected features are the device shipping with Snapdragon 888 SoC in select markets and might ship with Exynos 2100 for other models. Further, the device could come with a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charge support; however, it is unlikely that the respective adapter will be included in the box.
