Samsung Galaxy M53 5G Coming To India With 108MP Quad-Rear Cameras On April 22nd

Galaxy M53 5G tease

Samsung has a new launch for its Galaxy M series. After the recent launch of the Galaxy M33 5G in the country, Samsung is gearing up to unveil the new Galaxy M53 5G. Samsung now has a listing page for the device on its India website alongside the Amazon India listing. The listing page reveals the device’s design and what to expect from the upcoming mid-range smartphone from the company. The Galaxy M53 5G will launch in India on April 22nd at Noon.

Going by the teaser images, the Galaxy M53 5G seems to be having a unibody design with rounded corners and a slimmer form factor. The device features a square camera module, the signature construction in the recent Galaxy M series and is a welcome change from the typical array system. The Galaxy M53 will further have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Galaxy M53 5G — 120Hz Display

The Galaxy M53 5G will sport a centred punch-hole display on the front, which the company calls its Infinity-O Display. Through the listing page, Samsung has confirmed that it is a 6.58-inches sAMOLED+ display featuring a 120Hz high refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The Display promises to showcase content in a crisp manner alongside an immersive viewing experience. For its protection, Samsung is also providing Galaxy Gorilla 5 on top.

108MP Camera & Object Eraser Mode

The prominent feature, at least by the teaser, for now, appears to be the rear cameras after the Display. The Galaxy M53 5G will have a quad rear camera setup featuring a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It will accompany three other sensors: an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. The rear cameras seem to be coming with a new feature like Object Eraser mode; it promises to make the captured shot flawless by removing unnecessary objects in the background with this magic tool.

The other notable highlight of the upcoming Galaxy M53 5G is the Auto Data switching mode. It lets you make calls and use cellular data from the secondary SIM; whenever the primary SIM finds itself in a no-network area.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G — Spotted on Samsung Website

Meanwhile, last week, the Galaxy M53 5G was already listed on its Samsung Mobile Press website. Though the company hadn’t launched the device globally or in other markets yet; it has been listed on the aforementioned site. The page confirmed the device shipping with an octa-core processor, which is reportedly a Dimensity 900 SoC, according to Sammobile.
