Samsung India confirms the Galaxy M52 5G launch date for the Indian market. The launch will take place on September 28th in the country, which was earlier planned on September 19th; at least, that’s what Amazon India’s teaser page had suggested. However, it is now official, and the Galaxy M52 5G is also confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 778G chipset alongside support to 11 5G bands for the Indian market. This further makes the third-Galaxy M series phone with 5G capabilities after the Galaxy M32 5G and the Galaxy M42 5G.
Galaxy M52 5G — Snapdragon 778G
Samsung suggests the new Galaxy M device will be available for purchase post the launch through Amazon India, and Samsung India website, and other leading retail stores. As aforementioned, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 778G, the same 6nm SoC that powered recent Samsung devices like the Galaxy A52s 5G and the Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi model. This SoC claims to improve CPU performance by 55% on the Galaxy M52 5G, promising better multitasking.
Compared to the predecessor (Galaxy M51), the M52 5G will be 21% thinner, making it one of the slimmest phones amongst the lineup with 7.4mm in thickness. Lastly, the display, Infinity-O, is said to be a lot smoother (2x), which means we can further expect a higher refresh rate AMOLED panel.
