Samsung Galaxy M31 launched in India; price, specs, and availability

Samsung has announced its new Mega Monster smartphone today in India. The South Korean smartphone maker has launched an upgrade of its M30 series handset. After the original M30, came M30s, now has arrived the Galaxy M31. This Amazon-exclusive smartphone comes power-packed with a lot of features. Let’s talk about it all below. 

Samsung Galaxy M31 – Specifications 

Sporting a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, this all-new Samsung smartphone offers a brilliant display for the price it is launched in India. The company always had a history of good displays, even in the sub Rs 20,000 segment. It is supported by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. 

Powered by Exynos 9611 processor, which clocks at 2.3GHz and is accompanied by a 6GB of RAM. The M31 is being offered in two storage variants, including 64GB and 128GB. It’s a UFS 2.1 storage in case you are wondering. Speaking about the software, Samsung will be offering it’s OneUI 2.0 based on the Android 10 OS. It has multilingual support and smart search feature. 

Talking about the camera department, Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with the quadruple rear camera setup. Where the primary lens is of 64MP resolution with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary lens is an 8MP which is ultra-wide in nature. The other two lenses are both 5MP, where one is a macro lens of 4cm and the other is a depth sensor for portrait shots. 

There is a 32MP selfie camera, which is of f/2.4 aperture and is housed inside the infinity-U display, which is essentially a notch display. All this is powered by a massive 6000mAh capacity battery, which is aided by a 15W fast charging technology. 

You should know some more essentials on the M31, which include Widevine L1 support, a dedicated night mode, and gameplay recording in-game turbo mode.

The all-new Samsung Galaxy M31 will be available in two colours Ocean Blue and Space Black. The 6GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs. 14,999, while the 6GB + 128GB model will be fetched for Rs 15,999. The sale of the handset starts from March 5, 12 PM on Amazon India.
