Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite goes up for pre-order in China

After a relatively brief affair with the rumour mill, the Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite are now up for pre-order in China. With the pre-orders, the comprehensive spec-sheet of the duo is now also out. We just saw posters of the handset leak yesterday but this pre-order page on Samsung China website clears the dust.

As for the endowments of the duo, we can say that the A9 Star is a powerful new device that can stay in the upper mid-range category. While the A9 Star Lite borrows most of its internals from the Galaxy A6+.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Specifications 

The A9 Star has a big 6.28-inch Full-HD+ display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The processor in the driving seat is none other than the Snapdragon 660 SoC backed by a beefy 3,700mAh battery. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the well-endowed device boasts of a 24MP + 16MP setup on the rear while the front also has an able 24MP shooter fit for selfies. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung’s own Experience UI on top.

As for the Galaxy A9 Lite, we’ll not waste your time and leave you with the spec-sheet of the Galaxy A6+.

The Galaxy A9 Star, being an upper mid-range device also has a 3699 Yuan price tag to match. It has the classic Black and White colours. The A9 Star Lite costs a bit less at 2699 Yuan. Pre-orders are now in place and will continue until June 14.
