The budget smartphone market is looking more competitive than ever. While Xiaomi currently sits at the throne, it’s not a comfortable seat at the moment. Brands like ASUS, Honor, Vivo, and others have been battling it out under the Rs. 15,000 price tag. We’ve already talked about how Samsung is also planning to re-enter this market with its Galaxy M series. However, it seems like the M-series won’t be the only phone up Samsung’s sleeve. The South-Korean giant is touted to also launch the Samsung Galaxy A60 soon to take on the budget market.
Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite)
The Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite) is said to be coming soon this year. In fact, Samsung is rumored to launch a total of nine Galaxy A-series smartphones this year. Out of those, four devices have already been leaked, namely Galaxy A4+, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70, and Galaxy A90. All are expected to come by the second quarter of the year. Now, new reports suggest that the Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite) could be coming soon as well, sitting between the Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A70. The device is said to already be in development. In fact, it could launch as soon as April.
Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite) specifications
Speaking about the Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite), there is not much known about the device right now. However, the word on the rumor mill is that is will feature a design similar to the other 2019 Galaxy A series smartphones. What this means is that the device could feature smaller bezels. Additionally, it would also come with a punch-hole display, similar to the Galaxy A8s.
Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite) price in India and availability
As of now, there is no word on what the official price for the Samsung Galaxy A60 (A8 Lite) could be. The device is expected to sit between the Galaxy A50 and the slightly premium Galaxy A70.
