There’s Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 778G system-on-chip powering the Galaxy A52s 5G underneath. It makes it one of the few devices using the processor alongside the recent Realme GT and Motorola Edge 20. The SoC promises clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz with Kryo 670 CPU and uses Adreno 642L GPU for graphics. Since this is a 5G handset, Samsung suggests it can support the conventional 12 5G bands in the country. The SoC is further accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM with up to 128GB of onboard storage.

There’s a quadruple-camera setup on the back with 64MP acting as the primary sensor. It features OIS that further promises to allow longer shutter speed for better photos in low light conditions. There’s a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view — followed by a 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth camera. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera enclosed in the punch hole cutout. For videos, the rear camera supports features like Pro Video and 4K UHD recording.

The Galaxy A52s equips a decent 4500mAh battery capacity with support to 25W fast charging. Samsung suggests that this battery can last up to two days on a single charge.

The other highlights of the Galaxy A52s 5G include OneUI 3.0 (Android 11-based) running out of the box. The company is also promising three-year support for OS upgrades. It has virtual RAM expansion with the ‘RAM Plus’ feature. The device also supports stereo sound, Dolby Atmos; has support for Samsung Pay; comes with Samsung Knox security for data protection, and has an IP67 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.
