Samsung seems to be going all out with its smartphone business. The company recently launched the Galaxy M10 and M20 in the country. Then, at the dawn of MWC 2019, the company launched the Galaxy S10 series alongside the Galaxy Fold. Now, the company is rumored to be launching the Samsung Galaxy M30 soon as well. That said, the list doesn’t end here. Samsung has been rumored to launch the Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy A50 soon as well. And well, Samsung has now officially announced the devices.
Samsung Galaxy A30 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with a 6.4-inch FullHD+ (1080 x 2340) Super AMOLED display. It has a waterdrop notch up top, which the company calls the Infinity-U display. Under the hood, you get an Exynos 7904 SoC, which is comparable to the Snapdragon 636 SoC. It will be available in two variants of 3+32GB and 4+64GB. There is also the option to expand it via microSD cards up to 512GB. The Galaxy A30 comes with a native capacitive fingerprint scanner at the back.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy A30 features a dual camera setup at the back. There’s a 16MP f/1.7 primary sensor alongside a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. Up front, you get a 16MP f/2.0 shooter for selfies. The entire device is juiced up by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The device will be available in three colors, namely, Black, White, and Blue.
Samsung Galaxy A50 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is more like an upgraded version of the Galaxy A30. It features the same display as the Galaxy A30. However, it will be powered by the Exynos 9610 SoC, which goes head to head with the Snapdragon 660. It will be available in two variants of 4+64GB and 6+128GB. There is also the option to expand it via microSD cards up to 512GB. Unlike the Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A50 comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy A30 features a triple camera setup at the back. There’s a primary 25MP f/1.7 sensor paired alongside a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor and an 8MP f/2.4 ultra wide sensor. Up front, you get a 25MP f/2.0 shooter for selfies. The entire device is juiced up by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The device will be available in a total of four colors, namely, Black, White, Blue, and Coral.
Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 price in India
As of now, Samsung hasn’t disclosed the prices of the devices. Judging by the specifications, however, one expected the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 to be priced under Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively.
