Redmi TV with 70-inch 4K HDR display launched in China

Apart from the Redmi Note 8/ Pro and the RedmiBook 14, the company had another product up its sleeves at the recent launch in China. The Redmi TV had long been rumored, and the Chinese giant finally unveiled their product. And to be fair, considering the price and the features that it offers, the TV just so happens to be an absolute steal. We will get to the price in a bit, but let us talk about the features first.

Xiaomi Redmi TV features

The Xiaomi Redmi TV comes with a 70-inch display with 4K resolution and support for HDR playback. It is also a smart TV that comes with the company’s own PatchWall OS. It features a Cortex A53 quad-core processor up to 1.5GHz along with a Mali-450 GPU clocked at 750MHz. You get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage for installing all the apps and even storing some videos.

In terms of audio, the TV supports Dolby Audio and DTS HD standards. In terms of connectivity, you get 3 HDMI ports along with 2 USB ports. You can also connect to WiFi with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. You also get BlueTooth 4.2. The TV additionally comes with a mobile scan code for fast projection to the TV. 

Xiaomi Redmi TV price

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi TV at an unbelievable price of RMB 3799. That comes out to be roughly Rs. 38,000 in Indian rupees. At its price, the Redmi TV has no immediate competitor, to be honest.
