Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the new premium offering from the company that is launched in India. This comes as part of the newly announced Redmi Note 10 series in the country, which also comprises Redmi Note 10 Pro and a non-pro variant Redmi Note 10. The Pro Max is evidently the high tier phone in the lot as it packs in prominent flagship specs that include a high refresh rate display, bigger camera sensors, a bigger battery, to name a few.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max — Display and Design
The device comes with a 6.67-inches display with a punch hole cut out in the centre wherein the selfie shooter resides. It is a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which further comes with 120Hz refresh rates. The display further comes with up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, HDR 10 support, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top as well.
On the back, Redmi is introducing EVOL design (LOVE spelt backwards) in the popular Note 10 series lineup. This is said to be the next iteration of its Aura Design in the past. The new design involves a frosted glass back material; includes a dual-tone finish alongside a matte finish that promises to prevent fingerprint smudges. The company is also introducing new colour variants comprising — Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue and Dark Night. Overall, the device claims to be 0.7mm thinner and 16g lighter when compared to the predecessor. Lastly, the device is also IP52-rated to prevent from sprinkling water and dust.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max — Hardware
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max equips Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G chipset, which is an 8mm built octa-core processor; with clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz. It further has Spectra 350 Image processor, and for graphics, it utilises Adreno 618 GPU. The storage options of the device include up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. On the software front, the Pro Max comes with MIUI 12 (Android 11-based) out of the box.
The highlight feature of the Redmi Note Pro Max is its rear cameras. There’s a new camera module on the back, which comprises a 108MP primary camera. It is the latest Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor that comes with a 3x larger pixel size and better low light performance capabilities. It is accompanied by a 5MP super macro camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor as well. The punch hole on the front carries a 16MP selfie shooter.
Redmi is introducing vlog mode, for video; further has magic clone video, long exposure mode, dual video mode, video pro mode, and night mode 2.0.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes with a 5020mAh battery capacity. It further supports the company’s 33W fast charging. Redmi is including the respective adapter in the box too, which is a good thing. The battery can be topped from 0-59% in and around thirty-minutes, according to Redmi.
The other highlights of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, rubberised ports, and more.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max starts at Rs 18,999 for 6GB+64GB variant; the 6GB+128GB costs Rs 19,999 and the larger 8GB+128GB is priced at Rs 21,999. The first sale of the device starts on March 8th, and the device will be available for purchase on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Amazon India.
