Redmi has been on a streak of 9s with the Redmi 9 being launched today and the Redmi 9 Prime launch last month. Now, an exclusive leak suggests that the brand will be launching a new device in the form of the Redmi 9i. What are the specifications of the same, let us discuss the same in brief.
Redmi 9i Specifications
The Redmi 9i could likely be a rebranded version of the Redmi 9A. The display is a 6.53-inch LCD with a waterdrop notch to the top. The screen will also have a 20:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of HD+. In terms of performance, the device comes with the Mediatek Helio G25 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, there is a 13-megapixel sensor with a flash to the bottom. The selfie snapper is a 5-megapixel sensor. As for the battery, the device features a 5000 mAh battery and runs on MIUI 11.
In the exclusive article, linked below, it is mentioned that the device will be offered in a 4+64 variant and a 4+128 GB variant. The device will be available in three colours, Nature Green, Sea Blue, and Midnight Black.
Pricing and Availability
In Malaysia, the Redmi 9A is priced at RM 359 or INR 6,300, although the pricing in India could be higher due to higher GST rates paired with the current situation and supply chain issues. The colours are the same as in Malaysia, as confirmed by Ishan Agarwal.
