The Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C will launch soon in India, China, and a few other regions as per a fresh report. The budget mid-range phones will be the successor to the Redmi 9A and 9C that were launched back in 2020. The new mid-range smartphones from Xiaomi are expected to come with triple rear cameras, headlines with 50MP primary sensors, and MediaTek processors. The report further hints that the devices are expected to be priced under Rs 12,000 in the country.
Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C Rumoured Specifications
According to the latest report by Xiaomiui, Redmi 10A is said to come with three codenames — ‘thunder’ and ‘light’. The Redmi 10C is said to have codenames — ‘fog’, ‘rain’, and ‘wind’. Both the rumoured smartphones are likely to be powered by a MediaTek chipset.
The report further suggests that the Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C models are said to feature a triple-rear camera setup. It is likely to include a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1 sensor or OmniVision OV50C sensor, followed by an 8MP secondary ultrawide sensor and a 2MP OV02B1B or SC201CS macro camera. However, Xiaomi is yet to confirm any details about Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C, so the reported details should be considered with a pinch of salt.
Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C are expected to succeed Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C, respectively. Both smartphones have made their debut in Malaysia back in 2020. Redmi 9A has later arrived in India, but Redmi 9C’s availability is limited to selected regions.
When it comes to pricing, the Redmi 10A and 10C are expected to be priced below USD 200. In India, these devices could be sold for around Rs 12,000, or even lower as per the report.
