Xiaomi officially started teasing the Redmi 10 few days ago. And now the phone has been quietly launched in Malaysia. When it comes to its India launch date, no official details have been shared yet. So, we must wait for the brand to confirm the arrival details. As of now, let’s have a detailed look at some of the key specifications of this smartphone.

Redmi 10 specifications
Redmi 10 sports a Redmi Note 10 like design with dot drop notch on the front. On the other hand, its rear side features matte finish with a rectangle shaped quad rear camera module with Redmi branding. The device measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm in dimensions and weighs 181g. The phone comes in three colors – namely Carbon Gray, Pebble White, and Sea Blue.
Redmi 10 features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate and a centered punch-hole.
Moving on, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s brand new Helio G88 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone ships with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
As for optics, Redmi 10 features a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone gets an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging (22.5W charger included in the box) and 9W reverse charging. In terms of other features, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot and an IR blaster.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi 10 — Pricing
For now, Xiaomi has only revealed the Redmi 10 pricing for Malaysia wherein, the smartphone will be available at RM649 (Rs 11,388 approx.) and RM749 (Rs 13,142 approx.) for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants respectively.
That said, leaks suggest that in India, it is likely to launch as Redmi 10 Prime as it has been spotted on IMEI database with the model number (21061119BI).
