realme Watch S is the new smartwatch announced by the handset maker in Europe. The company has held an online-only event catered to the European market for the launch of its products including realme 7 5G and Buds Air Pro. The new smartwatch from realme is fitness and feature-focused by incorporating multiple sport modes, health assistant modes, and is also giving a longstanding battery life claim.

The new smartwatch is a traditional-looking watch featuring a circular dial with a 360 x 360 resolution. The touch screen measures 1.3-inches and is a 2.5D curved display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well as an anti-fingerprint coating on top. This display also offers a wide amount of interchangeable watch faces — a 100 in total.
Further, like a traditional smartphone, the realme Watch S offers auto-brightness feature as well. It can achieve up to 600Nits of peak brightness and comes with five different brightness levels. The display is further enclosed in an aluminium alloy casing, which is further attached to straps made of silicone gel. realme claims that these straps tend to be durable, lightweight, skin-friendly, and offer elasticity.

As the realme Watch S is a fitness tracker at its heart. It indeed comes with essential fitness modes. The realme Watch S claims to have intelligent activity tracking solutions. These include the traditional running, cycling and more — there’s new stationary bike mode alongside a rowing machine mode.
Further, there’s 24×7 health assistant mode which includes — real-time heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level monitoring besides the 16 sports modes as mentioned above. The other activity monitoring features include meditation, idle alert, step tracker, sleep monitoring, and also drinking water reminder.

As the Watch S connects to your smartphone, it combines smart features when it comes to app integration. Users will be able to connect to their essential apps through the watch that includes Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, Twitter, Instagram, Messenger and more.
The other highlights include unlocking your connected smartphone with the Watch S. Users can control music from their wrist, and they can click pictures on their smartphone too wherein — the Watch S acts as a camera shutter button. Lastly, there’s a call rejection feature with a tap on the new smartwatch as well. From this December, realme Watch S owners can pair their smartwatch to iOS devices, confirms realme.

The Watch S packs in a 390mAh battery beneath. It promises a 15-day lasting battery life. It supports magnetic charging and claims to be fully charged in two hours.

The realme Watch S will be available for sale in the European market starting December 3rd. It comes only in Black colour variant and costs €74.99 (Rs 6,600 approx.).
