The much-anticipated smartphone Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G has launched in India. It comes as a powerful mid-range device focused on gaming. The key takeaways of the new Narzo device include the fastest MediaTek 5G processor in the segment, a higher refresh rate display, an in-display fingerprint scanner with heart-rate detection, 33W fast charge, and more.

The company is offering the Realme 50 Narzo Pro 5G at Rs 19,999 (6GB+128GB), which is a first sale offer price. The larger storage variant 8GB+128GB is priced at Rs 21,999. The first sale of the device starts at 12PM on May 26th. Users can buy it through Realme India website and Amazon India. HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Card users can get a flat discount of Rs 2,000 as part of the launch offer.

The new Narzo device is built around a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It can achieve a peak brightness of 1000 nits and further comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

The screen comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner that simultaneously acts as a heart rate monitor as well, which further comes with eight different scene labels — General, Working, Exercise, Resting; Excited, Stressed, Full of energy, and Sleepless.

Kevlar Design

The Narzo 50 Pro 5G features a Kevlar design that promises to be lightweight. The material used is generally applied to cars, helmets, and high-end digital products, and it claims to be high in strength and in wear and tear resistance. The textured design is placed on the rear of the device. It comes in Hyper Blue and Hyper Black colour variants. There are set of dual stereo speakers at the bottom, which is Dolby Atmos certified.

Under the hood, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G is powered by Dimensity 920 5G SoC, built on a 6nm process. It promises clock speeds ranging from 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz. For graphics, the chipset accompanies Arm Mali-G68 GPU. In addition, there is a five-layer cooling system that promises to reduce heat dissipation by providing up to 10-degree Celsius in temperature in the core area of the device. The cooling system is built around three layers of graphite sheets for heat conduction.

The memory options on the device comprise up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Narzo 50 Pro ships with Android 12-based realme UI 3.0.

48MP AI Triple Rear Cameras

There is a triple camera system on the back of the Narzo 50 Pro led by a 48MP primary lens coupled with an 8MP wide-angle camera (120-degree field of view) and a 4cm macro lens. These rear cameras further utilise on-device AI Noise Reduction Engine 3.0 to reduce noise on photos captured by 30%.

On the front, the device settles with a 16MP selfie camera. It comes with features such as Super Nightscape mode and portrait bokeh mode for selfies and HDR videos.
