realme narzo 30A is the new budget offering announced in India under the narzo series. The entrant in realme’s narzo 30 series comes along with the more premium narzo 30 Pro 5G smartphone. The latest budget offers packs in a massive battery, dual rear cameras, a bigger display and also a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The narzo series in general are targeted at millennials in the highly competitive price segment, and narzo 30A considers itself to be the prominent one on paper.

The narzo 30A features a 6.5-inches HD+ display. It is an LCD panel featuring a dewdrop style display. Further, the display achieves screen to body ratio of 88.7%, 20:9 aspect ratio and also peak brightness of up to 570nits. It encloses in a matrix design back, which features a diagonal stripe design. The Matrix design on the back features in two colour variants — Laser Blue and Laser Black.

The MediaTek Helio G85 powers the narzo 30A smartphone. It’s an octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz. For graphics, it utilizes Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The SoC is paired with either 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of onboard storage (it’s an eMMC 5.1 storage and not UFS). There’s microSD expansion option available for up to 256GB. On the software front, the narzo 30A ships with Android 10-based realme UI out of the box.


The realme narzo 30A packs in dual rear cameras on the back housed in a square module: wherein 13MP acts as the primary sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. These support Super Nightscape mode, chroma boost mode, retro portrait and Night filters. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter housed in the dewdrop notch. The front camera further supports AI beauty mode, portrait mode and HDR mode.


The narzo 30A packs in a massive 6000mAh battery, which is even bigger than the premium narzo 30 Pro 5G smartphone. Moreover, it charges via USB Type-C and the company is also including an 18W fast charging adapter in the box. In addition, it supports reverse wired via OTG charging.

The other highlights of the device include rear mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.
