Realme 7i - Feature Image

Realme seems to be back to launching devices every single month. The brand recently launched it’s 7 series of devices in India, but, it seems that isn’t enough, considering the brand launched the realme 7i in Indonesia today. The device comes with some good features and some weird decisions. What is it’s specifications and price? Let us discuss in brief.

Realme 7i Specifications

The realme 7i comes equipped with a 6.5-inch display, with a similar 90hz display as the realme 7, but, the display differs from the elder sibling in the form that the 7i features an HD+ screen instead of FHD+. The punch-hole style display, however, is retained. The performance side of things too has taken a major toll, with the device featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

In terms of the optics, the camera module looks quite different, but the sensors are quite similar to the vanilla 7, with the device featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro.

The design too has significantly changed in comparison to the 7 and 7 Pro. The selfie snapper is the same 16-megapixel sensor as the realme 7. As for the battery and charging, there is a 5000 mAh battery, similar to the vanilla realme 7, but, the charging is limited to 18W. Additionally, the back sports a fingerprint sensor to the back, unlike the realme 7’s side-mounted sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The realme 7i is priced at IDR 3,199,000 ($215 or INR 15,800 approx) for the lone 8GB+128GB variant. The device can be availed in two colors, Aurora Green and Polar Blue, with sales starting from September 18 (Early Bird offer drops the price down to IDR 3,09,000 or $205/15k INR).
