Realme 7 5G is the new 5G entrant device for the UK market. The company CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed the new 5G device through an online-only event. Alongside, he has also introduced Buds Air Pro and the new realme Watch S. While the realme 7 5G appears similar to the realme 7 on the outside, they internally differ. The realme 7 5G features the latest MediaTek’s 5G chipset, a 120Hz refresh rate display, and quadruple cameras.

Realme 7 5G — Specs

The new 5G phone features a 6.5-inches Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate display with 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a punch hole to hop in the selfie camera. And, on the whole, the display achieves a screen to body ratio of 90.5%.

The realme 7 5G, as the name suggests is a 5G phone for the European market. The MediaTek’s 5G capable Dimensity 800U chipset powers the new 5G device. It is an octa-core processor that can hit clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz. The 7nm built processor is the latest mid-range processor offered by MediaTek.

In terms of storage, the realme 7 5G offers a single storage option. It features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. However, there’s microSD expansion for up to 256GB. For gaming enthusiasts, the 5G phone claims to be offering a smoother and faster gaming experience alongside a dedicate competition mode as well.

A massive 5000mAh battery powers the realme 7 5G with support to 30W Dart Charge. This fast charging tech from realme delivers 100% charge in 65 minutes. Further, it offers reverse OTG charging and also supports to charge wireless earphones and smartwatches.

Realme 7 5G — Cameras

The Realme 7 5G equips quadruple cameras on the back. The 48MP f/1.8 aperture camera acts as the main camera. It has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera followed by a macro and B&W lens. These rear cameras support a bunch of different modes that include — chrome boost mode, Super Nightscape Mode, 119-degree field of view and a cinema mode (21:9) for video recording.

The front in-display panel features a 16MP selfie shooter. It also highlights Bokeh mode, AI beauty mode, HDR and Super Nightscape mode.

The other highlights of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor coupled with Face Unlock, for authentication. There’s support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res when it comes to audio.

Realme 7 5G — Pricing

The realme 7 5G retails at €279 (Rs 24,500 approx.) in the Europan market. However, as part of Black Friday deals, the company is offering it for €229 (Rs 20,100 approx.) for select dates (November 27th-30th, 2020) on Amazon. The realme 5G will also be available in Baltic Blue colour variant.
