Realme 2 has been a talk of the town with its new improved features. The recently spun off firm, Realme is gearing up to launch its second handset and first as an independent manufacturer. The new handset will be a Flipkart exclusive product, unlike the Realme 1, which is Amazon exclusive. Furthermore, the brand has confirmed that its new phone would be even cheaper than the predecessor. Meaning it will be priced under Rs 10,000.
Realme 2: Cheaper than its predecessor
For those who don’t know, the Realme 1 price starts at 10,990 for the 4GB model. It could be possible that the new Realme 2 will come in 3GB variant, which could help reduce the cost. As far as the upgrade is concerned, the new phone is teased to come with improved specifications. Starting with a dual-rear camera, fingerprint sensor, and a large battery capacity. Plus, if you consider a notch design an improvement, then, that a significant change in design you could be happy about. Or else not.
The upcoming Realme phone will be sold in three colours including Diamond Red, Black, and Blue variants. Talking about the internals, earlier we expect that it would be coming with same Helio P60 processor, but looks like that is not the case. Instead, the new handset is supposed to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which the brand hasn’t revealed yet.
However, it helio P60 would have been a good choice as we have thoroughly tested the performance of the device against Xiaomi Mi A2 and Huawei Nova 3i. And surprisingly it emerges as a good performer. Further details on camera and connectivity are unknown for now.
