Realme 2 with Snapdragon 450 SoC and dual rear cameras launched in India

Realme has announced its second handset and first after the company becomes an independent entity. The latest handset is dubbed as Realme 2 and is priced at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Rs 10,990 for the 4GB/64GB variant. We talk about the specs sheet below.

Realme 2 Specs

The new handset introduces a notch-tastic design. With a 6.2-inch display, it sports a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and has a 19:9 aspect ratio. It will be running on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS. Talking further about the internals, it will have a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD card slot.

Unlike Realme 1, the new handset will be powered by a Qualcomm processor. The chipset model is Snapdragon 450, which is a decently powerful processor. But compared to Helio P60 it is a downgrade if you believe the experts at Mr. Phone.

As far as the camera department is concerned, it will be coming with a dual rear camera setup. Where the primary lens would be of 13MP resolution with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2MP f/2.4 aperture lens. The selfie camera will be of 8MP with f/2.2 aperture.

The connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. All this would be powered by a massive 4230mAh capacity battery, which is quite bigger compared to its predecessor model.
