POCO TWS (truly wireless) earbuds gets official confirmation

Today, POCO India has sent out an official statement regarding the launch of POCO TWS, it’s truly wireless earbuds. The newly formed independent brand from Xiaomi will be venturing into its first non-smartphone product. The young brand, formed in January this year has so far announced its POCO X2, a mid-ranger for its audience in the country.

The brand which got its recognition with the POCO F1 handset launched in 2018 has developed an almost cult-like following in the country. After redefining the flagship smartphone experience at an aggressively unbeatable price tag. It brought an equally exceptional mid-ranger at a price tag of Rs 15,999 (now increased to Rs 16,999).

POCO TWS 

As per the company, their decision to introduce TWS earphones is a result of the online meet-up and an extensive poll they conducted online. Among four options – TWS earphones, Headphones, Fitness Wearable and Gamepad, the truly wireless receive a maximum vote at 38.2%.

The Indian electronics devices market have seen a tremendous increase in brands introducing an entire range of TWS. It may be only fitting someone like POCO comes and redefines this category. Despite in its nascent stage, TWS category in India is rapidly growing, with takers being increased every day. The move from neckband to TWS is unlikely to happen, but Truly wireless will develop its own niche audience. And POCO sure looking forward to catering to it.
