POCO M4 Pro 5G will be officially launched globally on November 9. The new budget 5G smartphone will be an addition to the company’s M-series. Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO took to Twitter to confirm the launch date. Though not many details of the upcoming POCO smartphone have been revealed yet, recent developments have leaked some key details of the smartphone. To recall, the Poco M3 Pro was launched earlier this year in India, which was a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10T 5G.
POCO M4 Pro 5G Launch Details
POCO will unveil the M4 Pro 5G globally on November 9 via a virtual event at 8 PM GMT. The device is rumoured to launch as a rebranded vanilla Redmi Note 11. Reports suggest that the POCO M4 Pro 5G will arrive in India soon.
POCO M4 Pro 5G Rumoured Specifications
Ahead of its launch, the POCO M4 Pro 5G has visited several certification websites with the latest listing revealed on Geekbench. The supposed M4 Pro 5G has leaked carrying the model number 21091116AC. The global variant is said to carry the model number 21091116AG. The listing further suggests that the phone will feature the MT6833P processor under the hood, which could likely be the Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone is speculated to arrive in two variants: 6GB/ 8GB RAM options with up to 128GB of internal storage.
Apart from the Geekbench, the POCO M4 Pro 5G was also spotted on TENAA. So, according to this other listing, the M4 Pro 5G will feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. As for the camera, the smartphone will come with a triple-lens setup at the rear including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 5MP tele-macro sensor. The Poco M4 Pro 5G is also rumoured to pack a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. It is likely to come in a slew of colour options, including Black, Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue, Grey and White etc.
