POCO received some flack with its last launch, the POCO M2 Pro or should I say, the Redmi Note 9 Pro global edition. Today, the brand seems to be back at the rebranding game again, by launching the POCO M2, which is just a rebranded Redmi 9 Prime, with some minor changes. What are the specifications and pricing of the same? Let us discuss in brief.
POCO M2 Specifications
The POCO M2 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, which is of the LCD variety. It also houses the selfie sensor in a typical water-drop notch, unlike the M2 Pro’s punch-hole implementation. In terms of performance, the POCO M2 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G80 processor with 6GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants, 64GB and 128GB.
As for the optics, the device is equipped with a primary 13-megapixel sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, there is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The brand has provided the device with a mammoth 5000 mAh battery with support of up-to 18W fast charging. The device runs on MIUI 11 for POCO, based on Android 10.
