Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL prices slashed by at least Rs 16,000

Google Pixel 2 in Flipkart Big Shopping Days

In a bid to sell more phones this festive season, Google India has decided to drop the prices of its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. The new effective price for the phones are as follows:

Phone SKU MRP New offer price
Pixel 2 64G Rs 61,000 Rs 42,000
Pixel 2 128GB Rs 70,000 Rs 51,000
Pixel 2 XL 64GB Rs 73,000 Rs 57,000
Pixel 2 XL 128GB Rs 82,000 Rs 66,000

Here’s an interesting thing though, the price drop is valid only till December 31. Google India claims that this discount is due to active offers across different banks and online/offline merchants.

Pixel 2 price drop

Recently, during one of Flipkart’s sales the smaller Pixel was available for as low as Rs 40,000 but even this deal is pretty kickass. So, for all those who have been holding off on buying the phone, we’d suggest that you grab this sweet deal as soon as possible.

At the time of writing this story, both Flipkart and Amazon India hadn’t updated the prices yet.

Why are these prices tempting?

Well because, the bigger second-generation Pixel — barring its ill-fated display — is the best Android phone you can buy today. We love, both its rear and front cameras a lot. In all honesty, it is probably the best camera on a smartphone yet. Moreover, the price of the smaller second-generation Pixel put it squarely in competition with more affordable flagships like the LG V30+ or the Nokia 8.

So, will you buy the phone? Let us know in the comments below.
