Philips TAB5305 and TAB7305 soundbars with 70W/300W output launched in India, starting at Rs 14,990

Popular consumer electronics maker, Philips has come up with two new soundbars: TAB7305 and TAB5305 in the country. These soundbars are claimed to be bringing elegant, distinctive geometric compact design, and crisp audio quality, according to Philips. Amongst these Philips soundbars duo, the TAB7305 sits in the pricey lot and accompanies Dolby Digital Plus certification as well.

The affordable TAB5305 soundbar, priced Rs 14,990 sports 2.1 channel speakers with 70W output. The soundbar promises to deliver a satisfying bass — thanks to its compact wireless subwoofer. Philips says users can stream their playlists from devices including smartphones as the soundbar connects through Bluetooth. Besides, it also features audio-in/optical input. Which means you can use this as a portable speaker for your smartphone or it can also act as a smart to your existing smart TV.

The pricer in the lot also features 2.1 channel surround sound but with a solid 300W output. It can play Dolby Audio, meaning, this wireless subwoofer supports Dolby Digital Plus format. And, the company further claims that it could deliver clear voices alongside more impressive effects as well. For this, there are two midrange drivers coupled with two tweeters underneath, that further combine and promise to deliver balanced sound and crisp dialogue. The TAB7305 is a tad bit pricey than the TAB5305, starting at Rs 21,990.
