OPPO Reno8 series is releasing at its home ground on May 23rd. The new Reno 8 series is listed on the company’s website, and it will comprise the standard Reno8, Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+. The company has confirmed the same through its official Chinese microblogging site Weibo earlier. Over the past month, several rumours, leaks, and renders suggest what to expect from the upcoming Reno 8 series from OPPO.
The OPPO Reno 8 series listing suggests the models’ colour variants next to storage options that they would ship next week. For example, the Reno8 will have 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB storage options. The Pro variant would come in three models: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. Likewise, the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ will come in 8GB+256GB storage option and a 12GB+256GB variant.
Going by the teasers, all three models appear to feature a similar design aesthetics, including squared-off edges, flat sides, and a new camera module that seemingly blends in with the body frame. The design showcased is identical to the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition launched today in China. Further, the Reno8 series will likely include OPPO’s in-house developed MariSilicon X NPUs for advanced photography capabilities.
OnePlus Reno8 Pro+ 5G (Rumoured Specs)
While OPPO doesn’t confirm any specs apart from the design and colour variants, tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared them, which gives us an idea of what to expect from the Pro+ variant. The device will equip a 6.7-inches Full HD+ display, a BOE-made OLED panel featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to power with Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC, the same processor that powers the OnePlus Ace, its Racing Edition, and the OnePlus 10R. Along with MariSilicon X NPU, the device includes a 50MP IMX766 sensor coupled with an 8MP wide-angle and a 2MP macro lens. A 32MP front camera is expected to ship with the Pro+ variant. The device will be powered by a 4500mAh battery supporting an 80W SuperVOOC charge.
Oppo Reno8 and Reno8 Pro (Rumoured Specs)
According to another tipster Nithin, the Reno8 Pro is expected to be shipped with a 6.62-inches display. It comes with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will debut with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, the new processor yet to be announced by Qualcomm. The cameras, battery capacity, and fast charging capabilities will fairly match with the Pro+ variant.

The OPPO Reno8, on the other hand, will equip a 6.43-inches Full HD+ display, which is an AMOLED screen featuring a 90Hz refresh rate. The device also features a 50MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup, followed by a 32MP selfie shooter. With 80W SuperVOOC charging support, there is a 4500mAh battery powering the OPPO Reno8. MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC will power it.
