As you can see, both the devices come with matching colour options, but they do differ in design aesthetics. The higher-end model gets a 3D curved display alongside the curved edges on both sides. The Reno6 gets a Retro design with flat surfaces throughout and a flat display on the front.
On the back, along with the identical colour options, the devices also feature OPPO’s Reno Glow design, alongside the same set of rear cameras accompanying a similar module. The 32MP selfie cameras are also alike on these devices, following a punch hole cut out in the display. The other similarities in the cameras on both these devices include the new videography features: Cinematic Bokeh Flare portrait for video and the Bokeh Flare Photography.
In terms of hardware, though, as mentioned earlier, the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G comes with a prominent Dimensity 1200 SoC, one of the fewest in the country. Meanwhile, the Reno6 becomes the first device to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 SoC.
In terms of storage, the Reno6 Pro 5G offers 12GB RAM (in addition to up to 7GB of Virtual RAM). The Reno6 settles at 8GB of RAM with up to 5GB of virtual RAM expansion. The onboard storage on the Pro variant is set at 256GB and 128GB on the regular variant.
The Reno6 Pro and the Reno6 feature a 4500mAh, and a 4300mAh battery capacities, respectively. However, both come with OPPO’s 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charge support, which claims to charge the batteries to full in less than 40-minutes, which is impressive.
