Ahead of the OPPO Reno6 series launch on July 14th, 2021, OPPO has spilt some beans on what to expect from the successor phones from its Reno5 series, launched early this year. The next iterations are said to be bringing significant changes that could include camera enhancements, design aesthetics, software improvements, and 5G, of course!
The OPPO Reno6 Series will be comprising two new phones for India: the OPPO Reno6 Pro and the regular Reno6. The 5G phones in the lot are said to be different from the predecessors right from the design. That’s because the Reno6 series is said to be featuring OPPO’s exclusive Reno Glow design. For the Reno6 Pro, the design here seems to indicate a combination of reflective back paired with cool looking colour gradient/glow finish.

OPPO Reno6 Series — Reno Glow Design
Firstly, the OPPO Reno6 series will be featuring two colour variants: the Aurora and Stellar Black. While the Stellar Black here is a more traditional approach; the Aurora variant is said to be offering a shiny finish that further reflects colours when viewed at different angles and in different lighting conditions.
OPPO says the Reno Glow design is the first of its kind to offer a stunning look. The glass back had undergone a dedicated manufacturing process to achieve two paradoxical properties: a matte texture and a shiny finish. There’s also an AG glass process to make the shiny effect more appealing. On the whole, OPPO confirms the Reno6 series would offer a sleek build, with a metal edge frame–an AG glass back–featuring anti-fingerprint, stain resistance properties, and ultimately making it easy to hold in your hand.
