Q2 – So, to compliment the massive response, do you have any stats on the sales of the Reno6 series?
The Reno Series is the epitome of consumer-centric innovation. With each generation of the Reno Series, we have experienced unprecedented growth. We are happy to share that OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G has broken the sales record set by its last predecessor Reno5 Pro. Reno6 Series saw over 170% increase in online and offline channels.
This success is attributed to our retail partners and large Format Retail partners like Reliance and Croma who have been strong retail associates for all our Reno and F Series products. We will continue to recognise their support in ways where they have gone all out to help meet our customer needs.
Q3 -According to you what is it about the Reno6 series that customers have loved the most?
The Reno6 Series not only inherits the advantages of its predecessors, but also integrates lots of advanced features, including OPPO’s cutting-edge imaging technology and design processes which offer users a new generation of experiences. Its industry First Reno Glow Design technology and Bokeh Flare Portrait feature were few of the most talked about and liked features among our customers.
Q4 – We generally notice an increased preference towards the offline channels for purchasing mostly the budget devices. Since Reno6 series is your flagship line-up, did you witness an increase in terms of offline sales?
Our recently launched Reno6 product witnessed a massive success of over 170% for both online and offline sales volume this only showcases the tremendous journey Reno series has seen through each year.
Our customer-centric approach has allowed us to constantly challenge ourselves and establish new benchmarks in innovation and technology. With strong consumer research and insights, we learned that a large part of the smartphone demand is driven by the desire of having a better experience.
Both Online and offline channels have equally helped the smartphone market boom in the past couple of years. However, the rise in disposable income of consumers has given a new direction to the shopping habits of consumers. Due to which the e-commerce channels and platforms have seen exponential growth, which has helped us reach out to the broader market. We are working aggressively to harness the power of digital influencers and creators to widen our reach and drive conversion across platforms.
Basis our robust marketing strategy, we are proud to say that in 2020, OPPO grew in a declining market. We remain the market leader in Southeast Asia. In India, our sales continued to rise with a 33% increase in brand preference which is testimony to all the relentless work we have done.
