Oppo will be launching a budget device, K9s in its K series in China on October 20. Currently, the Oppo K9 series consists of Oppo K9 Pro and the vanilla Oppo K9. While details of the Oppo K9s haven’t been revealed yet, some of its key specs are out.
According to a poster that was recently shared on Weibo, Oppo revealed the design of the K9s. It shows that the phone will be available in black colour and another gradient option. The poster also showcases the phone’s triple-camera setup at the back placed in a large camera module.
Oppo K9s Rumoured specifications
While Oppo hasn’t provided details about the spec sheet, the K9s has already been listed on JD.com. The listing reveals that the phone will reportedly feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with upto 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Oppo K9s will be available in Neon Silver Sea, Magic Purple Quicksand, and Obsidian Warrior colour options. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
In terms of optics, the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For video chats and selfies, the device will have a 16MP shooter.
Through its official Chinese website, Oppo has confirmed that the K9s will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC flash charging.
So, these were some of the specifications of the upcoming device, which is all set to be launched in China. When it comes to its India launch, nothing has been revealed yet.
